Every card is packed by hand, photographed before it's sealed, and sent tracked. We treat a $20 card the same way we treat a $2,000 one — the packing doesn't change, only the insurance does.

How we pack

This is the part that decides whether a card arrives the way it left, so here's exactly what happens to every single order:

  1. Raw cards go into a fresh penny sleeve, then a toploader or semi-rigid holder, then a resealable team bag.
  2. Graded slabs are wrapped in bubble wrap and secured so they can't move, then boxed rigid — slabs crack when they're allowed to slide around.
  3. That goes between rigid backing boards, taped so nothing shifts in transit.
  4. Into a bubble mailer or rigid mailer, then into a tracked Australia Post satchel, sealed.
  5. The card is photographed immediately before packing, and the whole pack-and-seal is recorded on video, so there's always a record of exactly what went into the satchel and what condition it was in.

Why we film it: it means that if anything goes wrong in transit, we can settle it in one email instead of a back-and-forth about what was in the parcel. It protects you as much as it protects us. Ask and we'll happily send you the photos of your own card.

Postage cost

Website checkout charges a flat shipping fee automatically at checkout — A$11 within Australia, A$30 international — shown before you pay, and the same whether your order is one card or several, since a whole order ships in one satchel.

Direct arrangement, eBay and in-person sales aren't charged through the flat rate above — for those we quote postage with the card before you pay, and charge it at cost (we don't mark it up or use it to pad the price). As a guide, tracked domestic postage for a single card usually lands in the $10–$15 range, with express, signature and Extra Cover adding to that on higher-value orders.

Tracking, signature & insurance

Every orderAustralia Post tracking, emailed to you at dispatch
Over $100Signature on delivery required
Over $300Signature on delivery plus Australia Post Extra Cover to the card's full value
High valueFor genuinely high-value cards we'll discuss the safest option with you first — that may mean express with full cover, or handing it over in person at a show

If you'd like signature or extra cover on an order below those thresholds, just ask — we'll add it at cost.

Delivery timeframes

Once a parcel is lodged it's in Australia Post's hands. Their current estimates are typically:

These are Australia Post's estimates, not guarantees, and they stretch around Christmas and public holidays. We can't control carrier delays, but we will chase them with you — just ask.

Who carries the risk

We carry the risk until your card is delivered. If it's lost or damaged in transit, that's ours to fix — you get a refund or replacement, and we deal with Australia Post ourselves. You don't need to lodge the claim or chase the carrier.

Collection at shows

If you're coming to a show we're attending, we'll happily bring your card and hand it over there — free, no postage, and you get to look at it properly first. Upcoming shows are listed on the Next Show tab of our site. Just let us know when you buy.
