Terms of Sale Returns & Refunds Shipping Privacy

We want you to be genuinely happy with every card. If something isn't right, tell us — email info@bodaciouscardz.com and we'll answer within one business day. Most problems get sorted in a single conversation, and we'd much rather fix it than argue about it.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Every card we sell comes with guarantees that cannot be excluded — including that it will match its description and be of acceptable quality. Those rights sit above everything else on this page, and they don't expire when our goodwill windows do.

SituationWhat you're entitled to
Major problemYour choice of a full refund or a replacement, plus compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss. A major problem includes a card that is significantly different from its description or photos, or that you would not have bought had you known the true condition.
Minor problemWe're entitled to put it right within a reasonable time — usually a partial refund or a repair of the issue. If we can't or don't, you can then choose a refund.
Counterfeit or alteredFull refund including all postage both ways, with no time limit, if a recognised grading or authentication company confirms it.

If part of your order wasn't available

Because every card is one of one, it's possible for a card in your cart to sell elsewhere in the moments before your website checkout payment completes. If that happens, we never charge you for it — checkout checks availability immediately before taking payment, drops anything that's gone, and continues with the rest of your order. If a card is claimed in that same instant your payment is captured, we refund that portion automatically, the same day, back to the card you paid with.

If a card isn't as described

This is the one we take most seriously. If a card arrives and the condition doesn't match what we described or photographed:

  1. Email us within 14 days of delivery with your order details and clear photos of the card as it arrived, including the specific issue.
  2. We compare those against the photos we took of that exact card immediately before packing it — we photograph every card at dispatch, so there's always a like-for-like record.
  3. If we got it wrong, you get a full refund including postage both ways, or a replacement if you'd prefer and we have something suitable. We'll send you a return label.

Reporting after 14 days doesn't extinguish your Australian Consumer Law rights — it just makes it harder for both of us to tell what happened in transit versus what left here. Sooner is better for everyone.

Change of mind

We're not required to refund a change of mind, but we do it anyway as a goodwill policy, on these terms:

How to start a return

Email us before you send anything back. We'll confirm the return, give you a reference number, and tell you where to send it. A card that arrives back without us expecting it can't be matched to an order quickly, which delays your refund and puts the card at risk.

What condition a return must come back in

Because every card we sell is a unique item, we have to be able to confirm that the card coming back is the same card that went out. This protects genuine buyers as much as it protects us — it's what lets us refund quickly and without an argument.

If a returned card doesn't match the card that was sent, we'll contact you first — genuine mix-ups do happen and we'd rather sort it out directly. If it can't be resolved, we treat it as a fraudulent return: no refund is issued, the card is held as evidence, and the matter is reported to Queensland Police and to the relevant payment provider or platform, with the full photographic and video record.

Refunds

If your card arrives damaged

Transit damage is our problem to solve, not yours — we carry the risk until the card reaches you.

  1. Tell us within 48 hours of delivery.
  2. Send photos of the card and all of the packaging, including the satchel and the label.
  3. Keep every piece of packaging until the claim is settled — Australia Post can require it to assess a claim.
  4. We'll refund or replace, and we deal with the carrier ourselves. You don't need to chase them.

If your card never arrives

Every order goes out tracked. If tracking stops moving or the estimated delivery date passes:

Cards bought on eBay

Returns for cards bought through our eBay stores go through eBay's own returns process and are covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee. Start it from your eBay order rather than emailing us — it's faster, and it keeps your buyer protection intact.

Cards bought in person

At a show or meet you can inspect a card properly before you pay, so change-of-mind returns don't apply. If a card later turns out to be misdescribed, counterfeit or altered, your Australian Consumer Law rights apply exactly as they would for an online order — get in touch.

Still not happy?

If we can't resolve something between us, you can contact the Queensland Office of Fair Trading or the ACCC. We'd much rather sort it out directly, and we've never yet needed to go that far.
