Community Guidelines

Last updated 10 September 2026

The Community tab is a free space for real collectors to show off their own trading cards — not a marketplace, and not part of the Vault's own inventory. Anyone can browse it; creating a showcase, reacting, or commenting requires a free account. These guidelines explain what's expected of anyone taking part, and what happens when something doesn't belong here.

By creating a Community account, adding a showcase, or posting a comment or reaction, you agree to follow these guidelines. See also our Privacy Policy and Terms of Sale & Use.

1. Who Can Take Part

Anyone can browse Community showcases, member profiles, and the Founders' Vault for free — no account needed.

Creating your own showcase, reacting to a Grail Spotlight card, or leaving a comment requires a free Community account (email + password, or Google sign-in). One showcase per person — don't create multiple accounts to get around a card limit or a moderation decision.

There's no minimum purchase or spend to take part — the Community tab exists for fans of the hobby, whether or not you've ever bought a card from us.

2. Your Showcase

Your showcase is your own collection, shown your way:

4. Comments & Reactions

Founders' Vault Grail Spotlight cards support reactions (🔥 ❤️ 😮) and comment threads from signed-in members. A few rules specific to these:

5. What's Allowed / Not Allowed

✅ Welcome here

  • Photos of trading cards you genuinely own
  • A short, honest story about why a card matters to you
  • Friendly, on-topic comments and reactions
  • Linking your own Instagram, Facebook, TikTok or eBay store as a social

🚫 Not allowed

  • Photos that aren't trading cards, or aren't yours
  • Inappropriate, offensive, or abusive photos or text
  • Spam, scams, or "buy from me elsewhere" advertising
  • Impersonating another member, the Vault, or a public figure
  • Harassment, hate speech, or targeting another member

These are the same categories you'll see on the report form — if you're ever unsure whether something belongs, that's a good sign to report it and let us take a look.

6. Reporting Content

We use a report-and-remove model rather than reviewing every upload before it goes live — it keeps the Community tab fast and spontaneous, but it means we rely on members to flag what shouldn't be there.

Every card listing has a small ⚑ Report link on its detail view. Reporting requires a signed-in account (so reports can't be spammed anonymously), and covers:

Inappropriate photo Not a trading card Offensive or abusive Spam or scam Other

We review every report by hand. If a listing doesn't belong, we remove it (and its photos) — otherwise we dismiss the report and leave it up. Either way, the report itself is confidential; we don't share who filed it with the person reported.

7. Content You Post Is Still Yours

You own the photos and stories you add to your showcase. By posting them, you give the Vault permission to display them publicly within the Community tab and the Founders' Vault (including, for example, a small preview of your showcase on the site's Home page) for as long as your showcase or the card stays up. We don't sell, license, or reuse your photos anywhere off this site.

You can remove a card, edit your profile, or delete your account at any time — see Privacy Policy for how to request full account deletion.

8. Enforcement

If content is reported and found to break these guidelines, we'll remove it. Depending on how serious or repeated the issue is, that can mean:

Note: these guidelines are about the Community showcase specifically — actual card purchases, offers, and eBay listings are covered by our Terms of Sale & Use.

9. Changes to These Guidelines

We may update these guidelines as the Community tab grows — for example, as new features like comments or reactions are added to more parts of the site. We'll update the "Last updated" date above whenever we do; continuing to use the Community tab after a change means you accept the update.
